I'm Still Kickin'...

No, really! I'm still alive.

Just been... eh... busy. Current project: building a fence. I'm just tired of chasing my dog through the neighborhood.

So I was supposed to go to Atlanta this weekend for NC, but didn't make it. Too many other things going on right now. Kinda bummed about it, but thanks to Big Dave and the Italian Whore for thinking of me this weekend. I DID get my wife to commit to going to the AC in San Juan in June. So there's something to look forward to.

My step daughter (it sounds so weird to say it) and her husband and my GRANDCHILDREN (THAT REALLY SEEMS WEIRD!!) are moving here. Well, near here... about an hour away, but much closer than the 3,000 miles they were in CA. We're dog-sitting starting tonight, until they settle on the house and the furniture arrives next week.

Dad is still chillin'. He has his good days and his bad ones... he's been irritated a lot lately. Mostly b/c we're changing things... new TV cabinet; new fence; new ceiling fans, etc. It's the process of change that irritates him... once the TV cabinet was built and put in place, it was as if it had always been there.

Guess that's the general update with my life. I should be a regular read once more, for those of you who read.
